Conditions of Sale

This list cancels all previous lists and offers. All wines are offered subject to availability and remain the property of Paulson Rare Wine eK. until payment is received in full.

The prices are in Euro and include sales tax or VAT (at present 19%) with the exception of wines marked "broking". Regarding the possibility for refund of the VAT for shipments outside of the EU, please contact us. Payment is due within 14 days after the date of invoice.

Wines will only be shipped abroad after full payment has been received. Our cellars in Waldkirchen are deemed as point of sale, but as we do not have a shop, wines can only be collected after prior appointment.

We can arrange shipping for you and the wines will be securely packed by us for the transport at no extra cost. However the costs of shipping, insurance, provision of for some countries necessary paperwork and any bankcharges will be added to your invoice at cost price.

Every effort will be made to describe the condition of the wines as precise as possible, however no guarantee regarding the quality can be made with wine, as this is also dependent on conditions beyond our control. There is always a risk of cork failure with old wines as corks lose their elasticity with age and may fail during or after shipment, and we can not accept responsibility for this after the wine has left our cellars.

Insurance claims can only be considered if breakage has been reported to the carrier at the time of delivery and reported to us within one week.

Regarding shipment of wine to the USA.

Regarding shipment of wine to the USA. Before sending you wine it is important to make sure that you may import these into the US. To import alcoholic beverages for commercial use you must have an import licence. It should however be possible for a person on a one-time basis to import small quantities of wine for personal use. As import regulations vary from state to state it is essential for you to find out how the situation is in your case as we can not take any responsibilities for wines getting stuck at customs. There is also the added difficulty with shipping of the wines. The US Mail will not ship wine within the US and FedEx and other parcel services will not send it to the US if the recipient does not have an import licence. We suggest that you speak to your local wine shop and ask them to import it for you using your or his FedEx account, sending us the filled out shipping papers beforehand. Another solution would be if you or a friend of yours would bring the wine as handluggage to the US. We can send the wine to any adress in Europe.
